Being Inspired by Other Blogs

Hi, everyone! Through the process of starting my blog, I have found countless other blogs that are very similar to mine. I love looking through these blogs to take inspiration for future posts on my blog, or even just for my own enjoyment! The two blogs that I am mentioning today are worth a visit for any animal lovers looking to widen their knowledge on the subject!

4 The Love of Animals

I came across this blog and I love it for many different reasons! Their page is organized well and is very appealing to the eye. The blog focuses on responsible pet ownership. They support numerous animal welfare causes with income from advertising. The topics they post about range from pet accessories, to DIY projects, and even reviews on animal-related products. I think that the layout of their page is easy to navigate through, which is a big plus for individuals who aren't very tech-savvy. The posts seem somewhat laid back, and the tone of their writing makes it feel very personal. It is almost as though you're having a conversation with a friend. It seems to me they are very engaged with their followers. They hold giveaways for their viewers and there is a section on their page for readers to send in feedback. I would definitely recommend this blog to my viewers. Other than it also being about animals, it has a similar feel to my page so if a viewer enjoyed my blog, I believe they would enjoy theirs as well!

Pet Bucket

This blog caught my eye mostly because of its content. A majority of their posts are on tips and advice for keeping your pet healthy and happy. I also find their blog very easy to navigate through. They post roughly two times a month and I always find their posts very intriguing. I find some of their posts to be slightly bland because there aren't many pictures or headings, but they always contain a ton of interesting information! The wording and vocabulary they use make the reading very interesting and I never seem to get bored. I would recommend this blog to my viewers because they post on the same realm of topics I would post on my blog, and it seems as though we have similar tastes.

By looking at other blogs similar in topic to mine, I found out that I should look into making my page more appealing to the reader and using a more exciting vocabulary. Most individuals judge a book based on the cover whether we like to admit it or not, so I definitely need to work on making it look better to draw in more readers. By advancing my vocabulary, readers won't get bored with the overload of information and they'll want to keep reading. I feel that using what I have learned to advance my blog will make it much more desirable to readers.
